Tony is clearly at the top of his game, his work with my Samsung LED LCD TV and blu-ray player was of the highest quality, taking it from the barely watchable factory settings to an amazingly crystal clear and detail rich picture. His customer service is exemplary with no question too big or too small to answer.

I highly recommend Tony O'Brien, if you are considering having your TV calibrated. Tony is a true professional who knows his stuff. Tony has calibrated my Fujitsu and my Parents Panasonic plasma with excellent improvements. The final result was a smoother picture with greater detail and accurate colours resulting in a more realistic and natural picture.

I have had 2 televisions calibrated by Tony, all I can say is you are not seeing your movies in their fullest potential and glory until you have had an ISF calibration. Once a calibration is done the colour, contrast and image ‘pops’ in a way that no amount of tweaking I did could achieve. On my last TV I was unable to get a pure white, it was a pale yellow no matter how I adjusted the colour balance. Tony at Clarity Calibration adjusted that and I now get a perfect white balance.

After having my TV calibrated by Tony I straightaway noticed that the picture was much more detailed, the blacks were deeper and the colors look very natural. It's now hard to watch a TV that hasn't been calibrated. I have been recommending everyone I know who purchases a new TV to have it calibrated.

After planning and executing a fairly ambitious home theatre project, an often overlooked step can be calibration. I made the choice to bring in Tony to calibrate my JVC X-95R projector, and he did not disappoint. The results were stunning, but more importantly the service provided by Clarity AV was amazing. The professionalism and knowledge was second to none, and on top of this, Tony's friendliness and approachability made it a pleasure to have him in our home.

Thank you, Tony, so much for your hard work at my place last night. The increase in picture sharpness and dark detail is fantastic. I now have a brighter image overall, probably as I had done basic brightness/contrast settings when the projector was new and it had faded so gradually I didn't notice. My oversaturated/dark HDR profile is now a thing of the past and also now achieved on low lamp setting so no fan noise. I now have much better dark shadow detail and I can't wait to get back in there tonight and watch something... It was nearly 10 pm by the time Tony left so we just watched a little bit of the BBC doco Planet Earth II afterwards. The picture is astounding, I'll take some shots tonight but doubt they will compare to being there. Even HD Foxtel channels look great! Money well spent.

After having some discussions over the phone, Tony came to Melbourne to calibrate my projector. From the get-go, Tony was friendly and approachable as well as clearly knowledgeable and well-versed in not only SDR calibration but also HDR calibration, which can be a bit of an enigma to some. Tony was happy to discuss his methods and was patient in explaining concepts and how it all worked. He was very professional and took his time to get his measurements and the settings as good as they could be. The end result was fantastic. Can definitely recommend Tony and will be using him again In the future. Also, his pricing was very reasonable and the service was amazing value for money.

I'd always considered myself reasonably knowledgeable when it came to video/audio devices, so was confident that my new Hisense 75N7 picture settings were pretty good, but I kept reading about the difference a professional calibration could make, so I bit the bullet and got Tony into work some magic...and magic it was! First off, Tony is just the most easy-going bloke you could meet. He listened patiently to all of my theories, questions and mumblings and was able to clear a lot of misunderstandings up, while also explaining the process that he was going through on the TV. Did it improve much? The short answer is YES! Tony discovered that my picture was heavily tinted towards blue and green (I had followed settings provided from a ton of internet searching). Once Tony had completed the major part of the calibration, it was instantly visible that the picture had much more clarity in darker scenes, while the brighter scenes were also much clearer and colours more natural. Before you say, "you could adjust contrast or brightness" this is what a good calibration stops you doing for every individual program that you watch. It also means all colours, blacks and whites are more natural and easier to view in all conditions. Tony was also able to correct my HDR 10 settings so that I'm now really happy with them rather than starting to feel hath HDR was a bit of a gimmick. It really does "pop". I'd recommend a calibration to anyone who wants the best from their viewing experience which means Tony is your man for the job.

We had Tony around on Tuesday night to play with our 75" Samsung. I really had no idea what to expect but figured it couldn't hurt? I think like many around, I had a fiddle with the slider's in the control section, thought that looks good, had it confirmed by the better half, so it must be right. That was the last time that screen was on the TV, never to be played with again. After a 15 minute run around looking for the DVD remote because Sony decided buttons the actual unit aren't worth the investment, Tony was able to work his Voo-Doo. After a couple of hours pushing buttons & explaining what was adjusted and why it was done. Now I thought there might be a bit of a difference but not huge. I couldn't have been more wrong. It was plain to see the difference straight away. The picture was easier to look at if that makes sense. There was so much more depth, the colours looked natural & even the cook said the picture looks so much better. After a couple of nights in the seating position, I'm still noticing improvements in small things that increase the whole viewing pleasure. I'm not going into all the jargon about the improvements Tony made but the bottom line is, I feel it was one of the best things we could have done. If your tossing around the idea of having Tony over, it really is a no brainer, bite the bullet & get it done. You will not be disappointed.

Tony, is my go-to calibrator (and also the guru who does our StereoNET AV reviews). He's based in Adelaide but regularly travelling to VIC as well. After he calibrated my first projector, I have him do every screen and PJ now. Best money you can spend in my opinion.

I had Tony over today to calibrate my LG C9 65" and can readily attest to the worth of his work. As I thanked him on his way out he said to me......" wait till you watch TV tonight". He was so right. I switched to prime to watch the first episode of Picard and was in awe. Even my wife kept pointing out the detail in scenes. And she's as far removed from being a Trekky as anyone could be. Thank you again, Tony, it was a pleasure having you over and watching you work.

Just had Tony from Clarity Audio & Video Calibration work his magic on my LG 55b7. Wow, the difference is beyond exceptional; everything just looks so much more lifelike. If you have the chance to get your panel or projector professionally calibrated, do it.
